Flights

Fly into José María Córdova Airport (MDE) located in Rionegro, Antioquia. Expect a 40-minute drive to the city, littered with spectacular views of Medellin along the way.

Transportation

Airport Transportation: The hotels we've chosen (see the "Hotel Room Block" section for details) provide transportation services to and from the airport. To learn more, please reach out to your hotel's concierge.

Wedding Day Transportation: On the big day, we'll arrange round-trip transportation from the designated hotels to the wedding venue. Alternatively, you have the option to make your own transportation arrangements. Please note that while the wedding reception will officially conclude at 2:00 AM, transportation will be provided for guests who wish to leave earlier.

To get around Medellin, we recommend the following transportation apps:

Uber: Uber is the preferred method of transportation. Medellin is very Uber-friendly, (ouside of the airport).

InDrive: InDrive is another app similar to Uber, widely used in Colombia. It differs in that it requires cash payments and allows you to negotiate and set your own fare.

Medellín, the capital of Colombia's mountainous province of Antioquia, is situated in a fertile region celebrated for its coffee plantations, flower farms, and the presence of butterflies. Known as 'La Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera' (The City of Eternal Spring) because of its delightful year-round climate, Medellín is the proud host of the renowned annual flower festival, 'La Feria de las Flores,' held every August.
